Kind words from Kyle w.
“After a construction accident over five years ago, I was left with chronic lower back pain that never seemed to fully go away. I tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, and just about everything else, but nothing really gave me relief. After one session of PEMF therapy at The Well Clinic, I felt better than I had in years—more than I ever did after months of physical therapy. It was incredible. The pain was noticeably reduced, and I felt like I could finally move without that constant stiffness.”

The Well Clinic wasn’t something we planned—it grew out of a desperate desire to give all our kids a better, healthier life after trudging through the exhausting journey of our son’s chronic asthma. We know what it feels like to watch your child struggle while you feel powerless, doing everything you’re told and still not seeing lasting results. We understand the sleepless nights, the endless worry, and the overwhelming fear that something worse could happen.
Our story is personal because we’ve walked this road, just like you. We tried every conventional route—countless doctors, endless prescriptions—but nothing seemed to truly help. Instead, we watched as our son’s energy faded, and with it, our hope that we’d ever find real answers. That’s when we decided it was time to try something different. What started as a journey to help one of our children soon became a mission to help all families looking for a better way.

Our journey to holistic health began after a routine 2-year old wellness visit with our son. We believe he suffered a vaccine injury that triggered a cascade of immune issues, with asthma becoming the most alarming.
What began as mild symptoms quickly spiraled into something much more serious. Despite following every medical recommendation—specialists, medications, and steroids—his health kept declining. He was constantly tired, weak, and struggling to keep up with other kids. The simple joys of childhood—running, playing, and just being a kid—became fewer and far between. He was always battling to breathe, with painful flare-ups that left him on the sidelines.
The scariest moment came when his asthma became so severe that he had to be life flighted to a specialty hospital. In that moment, we thought we were going to lose him. As parents, it was terrifying. We felt powerless, stuck in a system we trusted but that wasn’t helping. Watching our child suffer while feeling helpless was one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced.

We were desperate for a change and we knew that God created our bodies to heal. One day, in what can only be described as God’s hand at work, we found a random blog post that mentioned a specific symptom our son was experiencing—something we had never come across in all of our research. That moment changed everything. It gave us the direction we had been desperately seeking and set us firmly on the path to healing his body the way God intended.
It wasn’t an easy road. His body had been so dependent on steroids and medications that detoxing took years and came with its own challenges. There were periods of time when things got worse before they got better, and we questioned if we were doing the right thing but slowly, we started to see changes. He began regaining his energy, his strength, and his spark. He was no longer the tired, weak boy we had been so worried about—he was running, playing, snowboarding, and living the vibrant childhood he was meant to have.
That breakthrough didn’t just restore our son’s health—it completely transformed our lives. It shifted the way we view health, healing, and the power of the body when it’s given the right tools.

Start Your Journey
It didn’t stop there. Our journey planted a deep desire in us to help other families who feel the same fear, frustration, and helplessness we once felt. We had lived through the long nights, the endless questions, and the constant search for something that worked. We understood what it was like to stand by your child, doing everything you can and still not finding real answers. That’s why we opened The Well Clinic: to offer families a place where they can find compassionate care, practical solutions, and above all, hope.
Our goal is simple—we want to be the support system we longed for during our darkest days. We’re here to walk this journey with you, offering the knowledge, tools, and encouragement that made all the difference for us. Whether your child is struggling with chronic issues, unexplained symptoms, or anything in between, we’re committed to helping you find clarity and real, lasting healing.
We believe that with the right approach, every child has the potential to thrive. We believe that parents deserve confidence, not confusion, in their decisions about their family’s health. Our story isn’t just about our son’s recovery—it’s about offering other families the same breakthrough we experienced, so they too can find hope, healing, and a future where their children can grow, play, and live the vibrant lives they deserve.
James Clayton is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) and, most importantly, a father of seven. As a dad, he understands the emotional weight parents carry when their child isn’t feeling well—the sleepless nights, the endless questions, and the deep desire to do what’s best for their family. His passion for holistic health comes from that place of love, responsibility, and the hope every parent has for their kids to thrive.
With heartfelt empathy and professional expertise, James is committed to helping families find real solutions. He believes that true healing begins by understanding the root cause and supporting the body’s natural ability to restore itself. He doesn’t just offer care—he offers support, encouragement, and guidance, knowing how much it means to parents to feel confident in their choices.
At The Well Clinic, James brings a fatherly approach to every family he works with, offering not only practical solutions but also the reassurance that they are not alone in their journey. His mission is to empower parents and help kids grow up healthy, happy, and full of life.
Outside the clinic, James is fully immersed in family life—spending time outdoors, playing with his kids, and embracing the joy and chaos that come with raising seven children. He’s a dad first, and that’s what makes his work so personal and impactful.
Erica Clayton is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), but first and foremost, she’s a wife and a mom with a heart for families. As a mother of seven, she understands the deep love, fierce protectiveness, and endless prayers that go into raising healthy kids. She knows what it’s like to lie awake at night, worrying if you’re doing the right thing, and the ache of wanting to see your children thrive in every way.
Driven by her mama’s heart, Erica found her passion for holistic health through her own journey of caring for her family. She believes that every parent deserves to feel confident in their choices and that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up strong, vibrant, and full of life. With empathy and a nurturing approach, Erica works closely with families to uncover the root causes of health concerns, offering natural solutions that bring lasting change.
At The Well Clinic, Erica’s mission is simple: to walk alongside parents, offering compassionate care and the kind of support she longed for as a young mom. She knows that being a parent isn’t easy, but with the right guidance and a little encouragement, it’s possible to raise healthy, happy kids without feeling overwhelmed.
When she’s not working with families, Erica is in the heart of her own—cooking meals, reading stories, playing outside, and soaking in the beautiful chaos of motherhood. For Erica, helping families isn’t just a job; it’s a calling born from her own journey as a mom.
We believe that with the right care, every person has the potential to thrive, and every family deserves confidence in their health journey.
